Cologne Cathedral

Cathedral of Cologne (Köln or cathedral) with the official name Hohe Domkirche St. Peter und Maria (Cathedral of St. Peter and Mary) is a Roman Catholic church to function as the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Cologne, Germany. With 157 meters high this church is the second highest church in Germany after Protestant Ulm Cathedral (Ulmer Münster) and is the third highest church of the world. Cologne Cathedral stands next to the main railway station and adjacent to the river Rhein Köln.

Nhà thờ chính tòa Köln (hay nhà thờ lớn Köln) với tên chính thức Hohe Domkirche St. Peter und Maria (Nhà thờ thánh Phêrô và Đức Mẹ Maria) là một nhà thờ Công giáo Rôma với chức năng là nhà thờ chính tòa của Tổng giáo phận Köln, Đức. Với độ cao 157 m nhà thờ này là nhà thờ cao thứ nhì của Đức sau Nhà thờ Tin Lành Ulm (Ulmer Münster) và là nhà thờ cao thứ ba của thế giới. Nhà thờ chính tòa Köln đứng cạnh nhà ga chính của Köln và giáp với sông Rhein.

Cologne Cathedral is a church built in the Gothic style in the world's third largest (after the Cathedral Sevilla Cathedral and Milano). Many art historians to identify this building is a harmonious combination unique of all construction elements and style of decoration in medieval Gothic architecture.
